Dhood Gu Hotel, set up in 2000 by Dhood Gu Ltd, is a popular and centrally located hotel, near to Barkhor area. The hotel is owned and run by Tibetan Nepalese family. It has traditional Tibetan decor.Dhoodgu hotel is one of the recommended sino-foreign middle range hotels in Lhasa. Its staffs are friendly and have long record of providing good. It takes up 1500 square meters ground area, and covers a total area of 3580 square meters.

The hotel enjoys a good location. It is 100 meter south of Jokhang Temple, 300 meters north of Ramoche Monastery (Xiao Zhao Si). Walk along the Beijing East Road for 1.3km from Dhood Gu Hotel, you will see Potala Palace 20 minutes later. The Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street is just 500 meters away, about 7 minutes walking distance. If you take a taxi to Lhasa Gonggar International Airport from the hotel, you will spend 1h on the 60km long road. Meanwhile, the Lhasa Railway Station is 10km away, about a 20 minutes' dirving.
